We were referred to Erin Evans four years ago when we were considering selling our home. When she showed up for the initial appointment we were extremely impressed with her knowledge of the area, her ability to listen to what we wanted and not push us in the direction she felt we should go and her follow up after our initial appointment. Although we decided not to sell the house because it just wasn't the right time for us, Erin respected our decision and always stayed in touch with our family. When we did decide to sell Erin was our one and only choice. We've had bad experiences with realtors in the past so it was important that we go with someone we knew would do an amazing job selling our home. Selling a home while living in another state can be challenging to say the least however with Erin we didn't have to worry. Jill is an absolute rock star! Our condo was purchased site unseen from almost half way around the world and Jill made the process seemless. Somehow she managed to answer all our questions in a very timely manner despite a 6 hour time difference. She was able to inform us about the different areas where we were looking to buy - critical information since we could not be there ourselves. When my husband and I were looking to purchase our first home in Hawaii it took us over a month to get someone to call us back letting us know that they were interested in assisting us in the purchase. I was talking to a friend and told her that we were looking to purchase a home but were confused as to why we could not get an agent to call us back. That is when we met Erin Evans. We called her and let her know that a friend recommended her and she was happy to start helping us find a new home. My husband was deployed at the time and she walked me through everything and when he came home we were able to start looking at the different homes that she had found that matched the criteria we were looking for. Since my husband was leaving again Erin and I worked together to get everything ready so that when he got home we would be able to sign closing documents. I could not have been more pleased with the services that she provided. When we got the call that we were going to be relocating off of the island and when we decided to sell our home we already knew who we were going to call. Erin knows how to make a game plan so that as a seller you know what is going to happen before it happens. She knows the current market in the area, so when she told us what photographs needed to be taken and how to go about listing the home to highlight its features, we listened. She knew that an open house would be the best way to show the home and the days and times that were already proven to show the home well. I was so happy to get Erin's call telling us that she was sending us over a signed offer the day after the open house! The rest of the selling process went just as Erin informed us that it would, letting us know when all of the inspections and such were going to happen. Right down to the closing paperwork Erin was there to walk us through everything. Erin Evans treats her clients like they are the only ones that she is working with. If you call and she is unable to answer she returns calls as soon as she is able to. If you send her a question through email she will either call you or email you back so that you fully understand what is going on. She is so friendly and makes the buying and selling process so easy. She will not pressure you into purchasing more home than you can afford as she does not want you to struggle as a home owner but to enjoy your new investment. Erin is the agent that I would call to purchase a home if we were to ever come back to Hawaii. I know that we would have another amazing experience with her.
